Job Summary
A QA Automation Engineer is sought to design, develop, and execute comprehensive software test plans. The role involves implementing structured testing methodologies, building and maintaining UI automation test suites using Selenium, and developing performance and load test scripts with tools like JUnit and JMeter. Key responsibilities include creating API and web service automation scripts for REST and SOAP, integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, and Nexus, and supporting various testing efforts. The engineer will also build and maintain mobile automation frameworks for iOS and Android applications using Appium and Espresso.
Must Have
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive software test plans.

- Build and maintain UI automation test suites using Selenium.
- Develop and maintain performance and load test scripts using JUnit, JMeter, and Selenium Grid.
- Create and maintain API and web service automation scripts for REST and SOAP services.
- Integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, and Nexus.
- Generate, manage, and optimize test data.
- Collaborate closely with development teams.
- Build, enhance, and maintain mobile automation frameworks using Appium, Espresso.
- Design, implement, and execute automated tests for iOS and Android applications.
- 3-8 years of hands-on experience with advanced automation testing frameworks.
- 3-8 years of experience developing test plans, test cases, and test strategies.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Experience with IDEs (e.g., Eclipse).
- Practical experience with Jenkins, Maven, SVN, and Nexus Repository.
- Proven experience building automation solutions with Selenium.
- Solid experience working with XML, REST, and SOAP web services.
Good to Have
- SoapUI or JMeter experience for service-level automation.
- Experience in property and casualty insurance applications.

- Implement structured testing methodologies, frameworks, and standards while monitoring defect trends and driving effective resolution
- Build and maintain UI automation test suites using Selenium and related technologies
- Develop and maintain performance and load test scripts using tools such as JUnit, JMeter, and Selenium Grid
- Create and maintain API and web service automation scripts for REST and SOAP services
- Integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Maven, and Nexus, ensuring seamless delivery cycles
- Generate, manage, and optimize test data required for automated test execution
- Collaborate closely with development teams, providing actionable feedback on functionality, usability, and quality risks
- Support internal, user acceptance, and third-party testing efforts as needed
- Build, enhance, and maintain mobile automation frameworks using Appium, Espresso, and other industry-standard tools
- Design, implement, and execute automated tests for iOS and Android applications
Requirements
- 3-8 years of hands-on experience with advanced automation testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies
- 3-8 years of experience developing test plans, test cases, and test strategies
- Strong understanding of software development practices, with proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and SQL
- Experience working with IDEs such as Eclipse (preferred) or similar
- Practical experience with Jenkins, Maven, SVN, and Nexus Repository
- Proven experience building automation solutions with Selenium
- Solid experience working with XML, REST, and SOAP web services; SoapUI or JMeter experience preferred for service-level automation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Experience in property and casualty insurance applications is a plus
